Course Management Enquiry Intranet
To complement the desktop Course Management System already developed by IRIE, it was decided that a company wide facility to publish available courses along with full availability was required. IRIE logic solutions developed an Intranet facility referencing the live database with 3 specific views.
- A contents view similar to a published report allowing hyperlinks to course details via a popup window.
- An Indexed facility by course date with completely booked courses greyed out to show available courses at a glance.
- A comprehensive search facility allowing course searches by name, date and tutor constraints.
The entire system was developed using ASP to fit in with existing technology at Auckland Hospital as well as the Microsoft theme plan already adopted company wide for corporate intranet.
