VM/ESA Platform Migration

In a project consultancy role, plan and manage the migration from 5 IBM mainframe VM/SP machines throughout the country to a single consolidated IBM VM/ESA ES/9000 platform located in Auckland. This project was performed over a 3 month period which incorporated network consolidation along with external peripheral migration.

Later projects on the newly migrated platform called for an independent detailed evaluation of VM/ESA performance products to monitor the growth of the consolidated platform. A full evaluation was performed with major offerings in the market and a detailed evaluation report delivered.
