Project Brief
We require an application to record and correlate potential cost saving ideas and report on the saving into the future. It must be a standalone application utilised by distributed personnel with the ability to consolidate data for central analysis.

IRIE solution
Developed the Genesis Idea Tracking database to record each idea with first month savings. Subsequent months accumulated savings are calculated on demand as required. Complete reporting incorporated current and extrapolated formats with date and department filters.

Consolidation is performed by dynamically unloading the relational structure to a flat file and emailing this for central consolidation where the import process as with the export process is completely automated Th consolidation utilises the corporate e-mail platform to transport data between databases.
